IF i woke up with a really bad hair day and tripped on a banana..also realized i had the biggest zit in the middle of my face.. got fired for being late to work too many time..got sick .. then heard the worst news.. then got stuck in tsunami but somehow survived with many psychological and phycisal scars.. same day i find out i got robbed & someone i care about decides to hate me overnight... then got aressted for robbing my own house lol then on the way to jail had an accident that made me lose my memory & ability to speak... with all that happening.. i know if i forgot everything i would still remember YOU... and if i couldnt speak i would just want to speak to tell you how much i love you... :P And if all that happened in one day... knowing you are there would make it all okay

so conclusion of this long story is that if one day i woke up & everything possible in the world was going wrong... i would think of you.. and it all would be okay

Been Barbequed

Im hereeee... well havent been blogging much since there has been a lot going on lately... time "dubbans" time flys :P ok that was soo lame... *someone throws tomatoes on dino

So after the many cloudy days i did something crazy... i EXPOSED MYSELF TO THE SUN!!

anyway... after hanging out in the sun for a long time.. and not listening to 7amooda when he said " 7uteee Sunscreen" i am now suffering the consequences.... ok i sense i will be blabbing now and no one will understand a word i say.. but i need to just write my thoughts down...

as i was contemplating on my daily life events... i started thinking of the many times we under or overestimate things in life...
how sometimes we don't realize the intensity of certain events.. or the impact they have on our life... till the moment passes us by... all we are left with are those burns... U know at that point that u are under the SUN.. and you are most likely to get burnt but you are denial and are taken away with the coolness of the water that you really don't realize how bad ou are burnt till later on...

how someone could get so many bumps on his head.. walk normally afterwards.. ignoring the little headaches and signs that something is wrong.. " underestimating" the real situation... till one day ... he finds out he has been suffering from major internal bleeding that he was unaware of all this time...

ok fhimto ishi? how i got that from being burnt in the sun... lol tis2aloooneeesh....

TV Hypno$i$

Maybe most of you would relate to this daily experience. You are passing by the living room and you really don't plan on sitting in front of the tv but you are suddenly drawn to some scene from a movie or show.. so you say ok ill stand for 5 minutes till this scene is over then i will go do something useful... the scene turns out being a whole movie.. you have now been sitting infront of the TV for the past 4 hours... and that was not your initial plan.... :S you are now a couch BATATA!!

its like this invisible magnetic force field that you get caught into & once you are in... its hard to just stand up and leave!

We have decided not to get a tv in our house inshala... i hope we will able to live without it... to think of all the free time we would have instead of watching tv! Television is actually one of the main reasons families have lost thier "bond". When there is TV the whole family are sitting in one room staring at a screen but they don't interact together or have normal conversations.

Anyway i imagined how my life would be with a tv and KIDS!! Id be hypnotized by the tv while our very hyperactive kid will run around destroying the house! :P ok i tend to exaggerate a bit :P but conclusion is i think tv is addictive and when i think of all the time i spent infront of a screen....of how many hours i spent from my life watching tv.... it freaks me out :S

Cow Ther@pY

After cow chose to go out with the "mgali3" player Bull behind my back... she hates to admit that i was right about him... anyway.. its not about who is right and who is wrong... now she is heart broken and is going through a very weird phase where she is doing all sorts of things she wouldnt usually do... like she is punishing herself ...

she got piercings and tatoos all over her body... she started smoking... swearing a lot... dresses up in a very inappropriate way...sleeps all day or listens to a lot of heavy metal... songs with titles like " ABUSE ME" and " SUICIDAL DREAM"... i feel she has a problem talking to me because she feels i lecture her a lot.. so instead i feel this unbreakable barrior between us... a loud silence everytime we sit together.... that is if we DO sit together...

she keeps saying " Even the richest COWS end up Burgers in Burger KING or McDonalds eventually"

*sigh*

So... i suggested therapy... and there is no shame in seeking help.. sometimes letting things off your chest even to a total stranger helps... Did you know an average person has around 50,000 negative thoughts a day!

Depression is something everyone goes through at some point in their life... it varies from person to person.. at how serious is it & how long it lasts.. It is usually caused by traumatic experiences or disappointments in life... It all about perception and when someone is happy the sky is blue, the birds are singing and when he is depressed the sky is grey and everything sounds like noise to you..

Here is some information about some of the different kinds of depression :

Mild Depression :

The symptoms of this form of depression include low self-esteem, a general feeling that nothing's worth doing, and a lack of interest in activities that used to be pleasurable. It's the most common form of depression, and is easily mistaken by others as simple unhappiness. Many people go through this type of depression, and recover from it, without really understanding what happened to them. Believe it or not a person suffering from mild depression has a more realistic perspective in life opposed to someone who is too optimistic with unrealistic goals.

Major Depression

Few people experience major depression without it becoming very obvious to those around them that they are depressed. The symptoms are similar to those of mild depression, but much worse. The lethargy can be so profound that the sufferer has trouble even getting out of bed, while any interest in previously-enjoyable activities will have gone. Loss of appetite & the desire for social interaction; all these will have significantly reduced. Feelings of guilt, worthlessness and despair can be so powerful that sufferers of major depression are prone to have suicidal thoughts, or even to attempt suicide.

Manic depression
A less common form of depression is manic depression, in which the sufferer has dramatic mood swings, from depression to mania. One day they may feel as though their world is about to end, while another day they'll be fantastically, unrealistically optimistic and cheerful. People suffering from manic depression are often artistic, and express their pain through their art.

Post-natal depression
Having a baby is a major change in anybody's life.The birth of a child makes a big difference to the hormone levels in the mother. With the sleepless nights, extra pounds and additional stress of coping with new demands on the mother's time and attention, it's not surprising that some women slip into a state of mild depression after childbirth. In some cases this can become major depression.

So.. point is... we all have gone through or will go through depression at a certain point in our life.. my advice is to not let yourself move from mild depression to major depression by realizing what the cause is... deal with it rather than sleep it away.. talk about it to someone close to you if you don't like the idea of therapy...

And believe it or not its all in your head.... its a DECISION you make.. DECIDE to be happy.. to GET OVER your depressing thoughts.. replace them with POSITIVE thoughts...

Life does not always go as planned.. you WILL make mistakes..you WILL make wrong decisions...you will suffer the consequences... the bull could break your heart.. but this is life.. don't dwell over your mishaps.. don't curse your fate.. dont blame yourself or punish yourself... just try to LEARN from your experiences..

there could be a million reasons to feel depressed... but i believe if you find just ONE good reason not to be.. if its good enough...those reasons fade away.... everything happens for a reason... and if you don't see its for the best at that same instant you learn later on that GOD loves you...

Everything you go through.. whether if its good or bad.. is part of a bigger plan for you.. have faith in God
because your happiness is in HIS hands..

If you go the wrong path... and you realize you are on the wrong path.. its never too late to turn back... its like taking a wrong turn... you either go farther away and deeper to dark scary roads that could lead to another country... or you realize you took a WRONG turn... and just simply GO BACK... to the right path...

If you are depressed... read a lot of quran :) it helps...

i have noticed changes in COW... she has not only been wearing corsets and watching her diet.. she has also gotten hair extensions & has started to wear a lot of make up and short skirts!! Since i have had cow ever since she was a baby i feel like her parent and that is my duty to help her make her choices in life... she is at a very critical age.. and i knew i would face it one day.. the age where she is thinking about marraige and love & bulls :P and to see her change into this cow barbie with superficial thoughts & not to forget to mention the way she has become "Bull Crazy"... is very hard on me...

Since its almost valentines day she has to choose between 6owr 1 who is very educated& sweet...her even learned how to WRITE... still working on the spelling though... his fashion sense is... lets just say.. he has no sense of fashion and in the fashion book it is called " FASHION SUICIDE"... but then again he is a sweetheart and would treat cow like a COW-QUEEN

Then we have 6owr 2... who is a barn drop out... very spoilt.. smokes a lot of "7asheesh"... mentioned he has been modeling in many magazines for the "horoscopes" taurus section... I dont sense he is serious about cow... and i personally dont like him at all... but i admit he knows how to dress and is charming when he talks...

So.... now... would you go for the sweet adorable yet clumsy and not so cute 6owr or the Hot "Mgale3" one lol

i don't like either and im telling her to wait till she gets the right 6owr & that the most important thing in such situations is to base your decision not only on looks & emotions but logic too... *sigh*

you know what im going to write about has nothing really to do with the pic i drew but well i just felt like drawing cow doing some karate! hehe

What i want to vent about today is how sometimes you work so hard for something... all your life you have focused on that one thing... sacrificed for it... like making a sculpture out of little objects you would collect every day.. and everyday you would add to it.. truely you did all that you could to make it look its best... And all your hard work has paid off now.. its a great peice of art....

till one day in a moment of anger, stress.. with one big "HIYAAAAAAAAAA" you break everything you have worked for all your life.. you are left with regret maybe even confusion at how in one second all those years of hard work could simply vanish...

your sculpture is now nothing but a mess... and its all your fault... you can't take back the things you did... or said... and even if you tried some things are just not fixable... it will never be the same...

moral of the story.... think before you speak people... because words are like bullets once you "6ukh" the person infront of you either kill them or leave them seriously injured!! Yes we all face problems & life isn't exaclty a walk in the "gneenah" & there is always someone to blame for our psychological problems.. but... choose your words carefully cause they could cause serious damage.... & unecessary DRAMA!!

So apparently my cow has overheard 2 girls talking to each other... one asked the other " does this shirt make me look like a COW?"... then later on she overheard some people calling a really obese person a COW!! she didnt take it very well and ever since she has not been eating at all... she wears a corset to keep her tummy tucked in & well im starting to worry about her..

she mentioned how she also found it very offensive how when we want to swear at each other we sometimes say " ya 7ayawan" " ya bagara"... and she did mention something that made a lot of sense to me... she said sometimes humans are worse than animals... she has not heard of a greedy cow killing another cow over money or gold or whatever.. she has never seen an animal gossip... she has never seen a cow get high... no animal has ever robbed a bank.. thrown a bomb on innocent families taking away thier lives.. no animal has ever backstabbed thier friend... & one last thing there are people WAY FATTER than COWS!!

*cows mooing is louder now and i can see her eyes begin to tear

Ok today im fine :) hamdulilAH :) was wondering what i should blog about today... and i remembered a reaccuring situation that im sure most of you might have gone through at some point of your life...

Scene: MALL

You are walking with your friend or mother or husband... in my case it would be with my cow :P hehe anyway... someone looks at u from far away and gives u the " I KNOW YOU look" with a WIDE SMILE... then u look around you.. behind you.. to make sure u are not going to look stupid smiling at a total stranger talking to someone else... then.. they start walking towards YOU... and now ur pretty sure its YOU they are smiling at... and you think... " WHO IS THIS?"

they are now SQUEEZING you and saying " OMG OMG I CAN BELIEVE AFTER ALL THIS TIME I SEE YOU AGAIN DANDOON"

ok..ur calling me with my "dala3" name kaman.. so u sure know me...

i start searching the name database in my mind trying really hard to REMEMBER!! and .... mind is still BLANK... so i try to handle the situation without showing that person i HAVE NO CLUE who they are.. by just asking general questions and answering their questions in the same hyper way.... sometimes i succeed.. i avoid using thier name by using " habeebti" or "ba66a" or any other dala3...

it usually works unless if someone is with u and says .. SO arent you going to INTRODUCE US ??? :S

after a long awkward silence you run out of smart things to say..

ok sorry no cartoon today.. not really feeling very upbeat.. its weird that i cant even write what i feel since i know lots of ppl who are close to me read this blog and are shocked to read things i don't share with them here.. but i need to vent.. or at least attempt to...

the worst feeling in the world is to have someone who knows you..who knows you very very well...who knows every little thing about you...can easily misjudge you and accuse of things that you haven't done...or said... or even misinterpret the things you do by saying you had other intentions...

why is it too hard to believe that some people in this world would so something good without an ulterior motive?!? That sometimes you say things without implying something bad... that sometimes you truely would do something nice just to see that persons smile...

Anyway...you realize that they don't know you at all... & its hurts more than anything because you would expect it from others... just not them...

you should know me better before judging me...

Yoga Mode

Yeay!! its the weekend again!! You know its so weird how days go by so quickly... i hate how things get into a routine mode and you want to do so many things but end up too tired or stressed out to do anything.. you wait for the weekend and when it comes its like it never happened... *sigh

7amooda always has work sometimes even on weekends... im thinking he needs a break too... we need to go to a yoga session... cow will come along cause well i feel she is feeling left out and i try my best to make her feel as special as she did before :P

Yes today i have turned the big 25!! A QUARTER OF A CENTURY! MEE!! i always imagined by the age of 25 i would have turned into a typical grown up who talks abt only politics and exchanges recipies for " mlookhya" & " mjadarah"!!! :P im the same and if anything im crazier than i was before! hehe

Last birthday i said i would start worrying abt the marraige topic if i turn 25... Although i dont think any girl should worry if she is still single because the right guy will come at the right time... for some its at 15 :S others maybe 35... so what i have to to my hubby is... PERFECT TIMING... u just MADE the deadline.. Really its my first birthday with 7amooda!! Yes... again i have a weird experence to share... things like this ONLY happen to ME... i SWALLOWED A PIN!!! Out of the many things a person can choke on or swallow by mistake.. COINS,FLYS,BONES,RINGS,EARINGS!!!! i swallow... A PIN!!!

How u may ask... let me explain... i was fixing my hijjab with pins.. i was talking to my friend alia with the pin in my mouth.. then i think i GASPED at something either she or i said... or just breathed in slightly... then GULP!!!!!

Anyway.. i reach the hospital and all the nurses would LAUGH when they ask what is wrong... " binit bala3at daboos"
*nurse trys to hide the laugh... then i see them telling each other and laughing... then they did an X RAY and i could it in my STOMACH!!! so they are like we need to make a ENDOSCOPY... i go like.. okay... UNAWARE of what it REALLY MEANT!!!

the doctor arrives and asks where the patient is... mom says its her.. she says.. " OH I WAS LOOKING FOR A 7 year old"

LOL nice nice.... any one else want to mock me? aaahahahahah Soooooooo.. any hoooooooooo

suddenly they take me to a room... where i wear the operation clothes... and the inject me with something that i think was a anesthetic... so what i remember was a LONG TUBE WAS SHOVED DOWN MY THROAT!!! it was more like TREASURE HUNT in my STOMACHE!! After i don't know how long i woke up and i dont even remember anything other than i came in and i was shocked to see the had already took out the PIN!!

i also remember that it was fun being pushed around on a bed! And i remember saying lots of weird things after the endoscopy since iwas still under the mukhadir effect! mom said i was dancing at a certain point lol

Felt like i was high.. not that i know what it feels like heheh

NOW THAT WAS A WEIRD EXPERIENCE.... first thing i said was "7ase fi SANDAL FI ZORI" hhahahaha

now it feels like there is a baby shoe rather than a huge sandal!!! :S

well i have swallowed a nail in the past... when i was 8.. but this was a first.. the lesson i learnt is.. dont talk when u have pins in your mouth... wait... no its DONT PUT PINS IN YOUR MOUTH!!! :S

Wedding Planning

So... im getting married in a couple of months... inshala... so now i am not stressed out yet... hamdulilah but but but but....

I HATE how people keep telling me negative things like..

"Enjoy this time while it lasts...a month after marraige u will get back reality & realize there is nothing to be happy about"
" YOU HAVEN'T BOOKED A PLACE FOR THE WEDDING YET? OH NO ULL NEVER FIND ONE"

" YOU HAVEN'T FOUND AN APARTMENT YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE SO SOON"

" YOU HAVEN'T WRITTEN DOWN YOUR WEDDING LIST YET THAT WILL TAKE AGES"

" BLA BLA BLA NO WAY.. followed by a very fake look of sympathy....

i can tell who is sincerely giving advice & is concerned and who is just trying to freak you out &make you feel bad

i really dont care what people say..im not really stressed out... maybe i will be in 3 months :P
but it just annoys me when all they have to say is negative things that put you down...they enjoy being unbelievably NEGATIVE..

Hello all!! Its been a while since i last posted here.... thank you all for your kind words & zaghareet lol so now that u know the BIG NEWS let me tell you abt some of the last minute adventures... Before we had the "writing of our book " lol we found out that there is a new rule in uae that for the marraige contract we need to both get blood tests done.. anyway... i thought it would be a simple & quick experience... up until mr. Nurse... Apparantly had a problem FINDING MY VIEN! im thinking HOW CAN YOU MISS?!?! im soo white its not even FUNNY... u practically SEE ALL my VIENS!!

So he pricks the needle into me and says.. " $h%@.. $%@%!!" and i am thinking "that is not the exact COMFORTING word i had in mind!!!" sooo... then i see weird things happening under my skin... then he decides to MOVE ON To the OTHER ARM! was it not ENOuGH he has DESTROYED ONE! LOL soooo he started his SEARCH IN other hand.... till finally he " SHIRIB MIn DAMI"

Anyway.. all that happened one day b4 my katb ktab.. u can imagine the way my arms looked the next day... one word perfectly describes it.. " JUNKIE" LOOOL i tried to look at the bright side... my dress was green so there was a sort of color matching going on with my GREENISH BLUE AFTER-SHOT ART!

im sure the way ppl love to gossip they probably either said " hay b6i63a6a mukhadarat" lol or " shaklo il 3arees budrubha"

WROTE THE BOOK!!

ok... now you will all know why i have not been posting much lately.. i was kind of busy... im now MARRIED... well my wedding wont be till summer but inkatab ktabi :) yes this might come as a shock to most of you.. i have to say im surprised myself... things happened really fast.. but al hamdulilah i don't think i have ever been this happy... i didnt get a chance to tell people didn't want to say anything till things are official! :) So ma tiz3alooosh mini yakhwana...

it happened exactly like i imagined it too... no awkwardness.. no stress.. sub7annalah... i used to always wonder how you would know the person is "THE ONE"... and well i will tell you how i knew.. you sit there with that person and you feel sooooooooo comfortable.. like you can say ANYTHING! You find yourself smiling so much your cheeks start to hurt! The thought of forever with them is no longer scary but more like something you cant wait for... You feel like you can be yourself.. that he would love you even after you tell him about all your quirks and "bagara" love ! lol

i have to say i thought twice b4 telling him about my blog.... wasn't sure he was ready to know about this side of me lol but he is still around... awwwwww :)

I am still not used to the idea that im MADAM Dina! But that doesnt mean im not happy about it :)

The only thing i don't really like is the way the roads have turned into RIVERS! How traffic is even worse when its raining!!

Finally... after many posts about cows.. i will share my story with those who dont already know it... the story of the day i fell in love with.... BAGAR!!

One day i was driving to my friends house... and ofcourse... I GOT LOST... btw my sense of direction is getting better.. now i get lost in only uae without reaching OMAN hehe ok.. sooo when i felt i was way off track i decided to take the nearest exit... the exit road was kind of underconsruction and well eventually turned into a sandy road... then no road... still iwas taking rights and lefts.. tryin to figure out an EXIT.. Assuming im driving a four-wheel. ( i drive a nissan sunny) hehe

suddenly... in the middle of no where... i press on the gas...frrrrrm frmmmmmmm... car stops moving...

GUESS WHAT...... GHARAZT!!! ( CAR GOT STUCK)....

*sound of crickets in the background
*sound of a wolf howling.. AAooooooooooooooooo
*sound of A COW????????

just to give u some background... of the scenery... * sun setting... its getting dark... houses that looked HAUNTED all around me... black dogs around.. i swear!!! so i think ok ill call my friends... MOBILE BATTERY was LOW.... i look around trying to find some sort of landmark!! and i see...............

2 COWS!!!!!!!!!! lol and im like? HUH?! BAGAR? so long story short... it got dark and 6 cars were searching for me... 6 fourwheels GHARAZO as well... till one of them SAW A COW!!! And they say they JUST KNEW THEY WERE CLOSE!!!

THE COW LEAD THEM TO ME!!! THE COW SAVED MY LIFE!! THEREFORE I OWE MY LIFE To BAGAR!!!

I LOVE COWS.... u know after 4 hours of bonding with them & sharing all my secrets i have to love them!!

Dont know if this worked.. but well just updating you guys... i still get calls not only from my indian mother but from many different indians including one that was apparently asking for the indian "ME" & searching for an apartment.. how i know? he said the word Room in between his 5minutes of indian talk :S

hehe im starting to think maybe im a schizophrenic that is unaware of her other indian self... no wonder i can perfect the accent!! no wonder indian men love me! hehe

OMg.. where do i start.. so today i left later than usual to work... usually i leave b4 the sun comes up.. but today i left while it was coming up... anyway... i was caught up in TRAFFIC from 6AM till 10 AM... not only that i hit the car infront of me cause he hit a sudden break... but it wasnt an ACCIDENT ( ma tkhafi ya mama)... my car hardly touched his car so it wasnt an accident... anyway... so i get to work at around 10:30... and THE PARKING is FULL!!!

sooooooo...... i went around in circles hoping to find a parking... thinking things cant get any worse... the guy infront of me HITS some other CAR ... blocks my WAY..... they have fight... i sit there... just waiting for them to MOVE!!!

He would scream at the guy then look at me and smile.. :S im thinking.. "HUH? MALO hada?"<-- whats up with this guy?

ARGH... then... mr. Angry man... comes to me and says he is sorry and indirectly PROPOSED & insisted on giving me his Business CARd.... :S Mush Wa2tak halaaaaaa2!!! <-- now is not the time!!

I love the beach... that is funny cause i havent gone in over a year!! EVERYTIME i actually Do Go or PLAN to Go something HAPPENS!! IT RAINS! GETS CLoudy!! You know... i have noticed something that is very sad.. yet very true... we sit there at home flipping through the channels... we see the most graphic scenes showing dead bodies in palestine/lebanon/iraq...war all around the world... seeing soo much of this everyday has made us desensitized... we no longer react to such scenes... we are used to seing them.. and u know what the media shows nowadays is always with effects, dramatic music and screen shots that only make us feel its less real cause we relate it to the everyday movies we see... *sigh*

what do we do after watching the news???? simply.....FLIP THE CHANNEL!!?????? :S *sigh*

" bla bla" suddenly from the expression on thier FACE U KNOW they are searching the FAMILY NAME DATA BASE in thier mind.. trying to recall if they KNOW anyone from ur family... and ofcourse if ur an ARAB YES THEY ALWAYS know... someone that is sittt abu 2im ukht khalet jiditak!! or ur greatgranmothers nieghbors SON IN LAW... lol

so u either get the DELIGHTED lOOK of APPROVAL.. or the FAKE SMILE followed by a sudden excuse to end the COnversation... then they whisper somethin To the ANOTHER lady next to them :P lol

soo after a long silence and deep concentration is as if a LIGHT BULB appears on the top of their head... then starts the million questions on " bt3aarfi 7aanafi ibn Mirvat?" or " mo3taz ibni was with u in university" yes anti i memorize all the names of all the students in the university(sarcasm)

Or even better when im im amman i say i came from dubai they start giving me names of all the ppl they know in dubai... as if dubai is a mini-playground and as soon as u go u all know each other... wait u know sometimes i actually DO end up knowing some of the names lol it is small world...

Sometimes the older generation that most probably grew up with my parents or grandparents start giving me names of ppl thier age... hmmmm sorry i dont even know UR NAME 3amo so pls stop asking me if i know the anti who fed me falafel when i was 2!! i dont even remember wha i ate yesterday!! chances are i WONT REMEMBER lol

i hate being judged for my own actions let alone SOMEONE ELSES!! its like why should anyone be judged by his name? family?nationality? or any other stereotype... ive seen brothers that are total opposites.. ive seen GOOD parents with the worst children! IVE seen BAd parents with GOOD kids!!

Once pushed me and i bumped my head on the corner of something... all i remembere was that i was wearing a white t-shirt that suddenly turned into RED!! :S

we would FIGHT EVERYDAY... then id call my mom at work crying

the ppl at my moms work got used to us calling!! ONCE i even called my UNcLE in London andsaid " ALO .. MAMA ?? WAYN MAMA" first they freaked out.. then they got used to it and would tell her.. "Your KIDS are fighting AGAIN"

i rememeber when we were kids how we would just fight all the time and then the BATHROOM was our only SHELTER! id hit him and RUNNNNN like CRAzy!! or he would do the same! ehhe

till one day.. while i was sitting inside laughing thinkin " hahaha U CANT GET ME NA NA NA ANA " he was soooo ANGRY hE KICKED THE DOOR AND BROKE IT DOWN!! Suddenly what was once a SAFE place turned into a HORROR movie!! hehe

in an office full of girls u get not only lots of gossip.. but lots of nervous breakdowns! I guess girls are more emotional & resort to crying in many situations...

tears are very handy in situations when u want to be forgiven for something you did... to get out of car tickets... what else.. hmmmm i just think us woman cry alot... and its funny how the same tears when come from a MAN.. are not as effective or powerful as when a woman CRYS :P

Pollution of D@ Mind

You know i sat there the other day thinking to myself as usual.. i thought about how the world has changed and is changing drastically.. i asked a kid to recite verses of the quran he had memorized , he satrted singing " boooos il wawa" instead!! i was horrified.. its a 4 yr old being subjected to haifa wahbe and im sure worse things! I have seen little girls dancing like those girls in the Music Videos... their innocence has been stolen away from them... what is the main source all this???? TV!!!

tv has become a "norm" a world that is as real to ppl as their worlds are... some may argue that it is harmless and that its just a way to pass time... knowing nowadays ppl have replaced reading books with watching movies.. surveys show that the average person watches around 4 hours and 32 minutes of television DAILY & that number increases on holidays!!

$ince people rarely read nowadays and have replaced books with tv shows or movies.. this also means that TV is their MAIN source of information and what ppl are continously viewing will definitely have an effect on them... for ex u spend most of ur time with your best friend... eventually u start talking and acting alike... even without realizing!! its pretty much the same with tv... ppl start to immitate what they see sometimes they are oblivious of the serious effects Tv can have!

Every generation is worse than the next ( i sound like a granny but its TRUE)... you want to protect yout children from the effect of television u can control the channels they watch..maybe even not have a TV in the house.. BUT what about in the REAL world... in school.. in the street! Is the solution blindfolding them? locking them up in a room away from this polluted world...

Cause from what i see EVERYWHERE you look there is something you shouldnt be looking at lol

Have you not noticed how they is hardly any censorship anymore? And that even in the morning or at noon when kids are mostly watching the tv the not very "sesame street" shows are on!! Yes i am not saying TV is all BAd... Yes there are alot of cool shows and i myself am a movie freak :S but some movies are just FULL of brain washing ideas that corrupt the taste, pollute the heart & brain, debase the mind, & demoralize the conduct of not only children but ADULTS as well.

Recently ive noticed that there is a noticable increase in violence, profanity, disrespect for traditonal values, unethical & morally unacceptable ideas, sexual connotation in movies.. What is considered a "G" RAted movie is FAR from "General"!

Ask yourself if the same kinds of scenes and messages we see now of all too many programs of today were found in the programs of twenty years ago. Not even 10 years ago!!

We are being exposed to growing amounts of inappropriate material if we choose to watch TV without being selective of what we watch with time we also will be brain washed and our minds will be polluted.

What people are repeatedly exposed to in advertisements, entertainment, novels, motion pictures, etc, has a great affect on ones self-image and behavior!

Television is no longer just entertainment it has become a "value-setter" where ppl compare themselves and thier lifestyle to what they see on TV! Movies have glorified violence, infidelity, & deviant behavior and have even made them look glamourous!

Another thing i noticed is that by continously being exposed to such shows & movies that hold soo much violence is being DESENSITIZED! People have gotten used to seeing death and violence that they have less sympathy for suffering and accept the idea of violence very easily. Which explains how the world sits their looking at people die in palestine,iraq,Lebanon & all around the world without taking any actions.. not even a flinch...

We must NOT take this matter lightly & have to at least be AWARE of what is happening around us and what will happen in the future if things keep escalating the way they are.

SAid like a true movie freak :P its been a while since i wrote something serious :)
