itza7lakit

Another day.. another adventure... another injury lol

As i was ba7oos fil ma6bakh.. i slipped... i remember things went into slow motion as i fell.. but al hamdulilah as always GAT Saleeemah.. just a few bruises here and there... nothing serious hamdulilah!

But you know what.. my imaginary cow seems to be afraid to hang around me these days and even when she does she wears a helmet... wonder why? :P

itza7lakti?? Salamtik!

I wanted to email you but there's no email on your profile, you're the only female dubai blogger I'm familiar with and I wanted to ask you if you were familiar with the names of some of the most useful places to go abaya and hijab shopping in dubai. Not fancy dressy ones but '3amaliyat'. Are you familiar with hanayen? Also, is it reasonable to expect to pay no more than 60 american dollars for a 3amaliya 3abaya (not those fancy sparkly ones) and no more than 20 dollars for a hijab?

One of my friends in dubai wants to send me some hijabs/abayas and she's not arab or muslim so she's not familiar with prices and specific styles and I don't want her to have to go to numerous places and then report prices to me and then go back, that would be inconvencing her so I thought I should try to get some general info from someone first so that she only makes one trip. She was planning on going to hanayen.

Sorry about the long post, let me know!

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I am 99% certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.
