:s

I just wanted to say i am not going to be blogging for a while. To blog i need to be in a cheerful mood to avoid nakad. So i promise to blog again lama Allah yifrijha. Too much has been going on. I can't seem to just do what i usually do, smile and ignore everything.

So for now since i cant say much i will say.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

*stops for breath

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Question. When you really really really want something. You are dying for this something. You live your life just to get it, to earn it, to deserve it. When you finally do manage to get it.
Does it slowly lose it's worth?
Do you lose interest and start wondering if you got a good deal? Do you start looking back at other possible things you could have got?
Does this apply to everything in life?

Is this human nature? IF yes than we are never going to be pleased with what we have. We can never be happy.

dina..hmm, well first im glad for once i am the first to comment on one of yr posts...and not the one before last!

Do things lose their worth once you get them? That is a very challenging question.

I think this is tied to "ridha" in many ways. Human nature is mostly disatisfied with what is in its plate and the grass is always "greener" on the other side of the fence *talking to the cow now*

But then, it also is linked to your obsession in wanting "that thing". We ALL want things, but WHY do we want them? Is it for our mere pleasure or to serve a better purpose..and if that is the case, do we really work for that purpose once we get what we want!

It is abuot focus, and it is about redha..

I myself have been going through the toughest time with choices ..but Allah kareem..

ya lateef ultuf bina ...ooh this ended up being a looong comment ;)

Dudz, am just glad I don't have to rely on this blog to be in touch with you. Remember, it's how you shape things to your advantage that counts. Take your time to let things sink but then you need to take action. I'm working on helping you how ;) Not leaving you alone until you do, mwa

YES. And it's happening to me recently, I wanted to have a job at the university so badly, it was like a dream.. and now that I have it, I keep thinking maybe I would've enjoyed working in something that's more fun and needs less effort especially that im studying at the same time. But then I feel I should be thankful, and say il hamdilla.. instead of not appreciating it. And then I start to feel really guilty about it all:S btw I too stop blogging when Im not happy!!!!

Good luck
I always say, be careful what you wish for.
You might get it. And you might really hate getting it!

Good luck

Salam Dina

To answer your questions, I will just mention a quote that I used loved so much
"Happiness is a journey, not a destination"

once you achieve something it becomes normal ...

I hope you will feel better soon.

hope u'll feel better and be back to blogging soon sweets :)
as for ur question..yes it's human nature..we always long for the things we don't have..but we should always remember to count our blessings and say thanks God for everything we achieved

Hi Dinos, I don't want to be presumptious here, and I apologise if I am way off track... but if this is male/female issue (i.e. marriage) then it is perfecctly normal. It does not matter how much you love the perrson the first two years of marrage are the equivlaent of a roller coaster (extreme highs vs. extreme lows). But in the end, whn you know you have a good person it is worth the ride, it makes the relationship stronger.

Allah yib3id 3ankum isshar wa inshaallah yifrij 3aleiki illi biddik yah...

amjad... nice comment... so does this journey need banzeen?

oriental.. so true we should stop looking at what others have and at we have instead and we should always count our blessings and know that someone else is looking at us and wishing they were in our place

anonymous... you are right the first 2 years of marraige are tough and that is because you are both getting to know each other but sorry if i threw u off to think it was a marital issue. Its not.. its actually work related and life in general. But i appreciate your advice. :)
