background music.. * from an old cowboy movie when the two cowboys are about to shoot...

tan na na na na naaa naaaa naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

If you are an arab... and you are reading this you might relate to what im about to say... imagine you as a kid sitting in a room and you did something wrong... your dad sees you and although he is far away... he has no problem aiming his shoe at you LOOOL ... heheh ok maybe im sharing too much info... but i remember in school when all the kids would gather around in the break and share thier "PIZZA" "Za3tar" CHips and "ZAKI" drinks we would all share these sort of stories...

So why.... WHY... do ARAB DAD'S USE SHOES as WEAPONS? hahahha its like when someone says lets go to "BATTA" or "SHOE CITY" i hesitate... *dino twitches

i will never look at shoes the same way again... thank u baba lol

so glad those days are over!! sadly i kind of miss the adventures.. it was like being in the MATRIX.... everything would go into slow motion.. SHOE IN THE AIR... hehehehe

ok mom is reading this... ops.. my dad never threw anything at me but fly kisses when i went to school everyday :P

*Dino$ RUns B4 someone refreshes her SHIB SHIB memories

Walla ennik nahfe! Loooool
My dad never did this, he used to trust his own hand palm :-D
But i remember once i got very angry and aimed a lucky shoot at a vase and it just fill into pieces, and the mud spread all over, and the poor plant just was destroyed!
Sure i tasted mom's hand palm at that time ;-)

In fact my father used the closest item to his reach, not necessarly a shoe, some times an ash tray other times a remote control... whatever his hands gets... :D

Shoe days are over, but those were the days. I must have been lucky I guess, I cannot remember my dad ever laying a hand on me :)

I think am becoming a regular at your blog,it is providing some much needed smiles and distraction.
Your story made me laugh,I remembered my uncle who use to live in Beirut, has 4 boys.He had this habit of throwing shoes if needed to whether they have visitors or not.So every time we go visit my mom would say walla b5af zouro, sarami tayra fo2 rasna, shi yom tsibna tartouche bel ghalat.

yes ... it's a skill that runs in the family now ... me and my brother mastered the art of knowing when a shibshib is coming, avoiding it, and recently we've been finding newly emerging shibshib-throwing super powers. LOL

"So why.... WHY... do ARAB DAD'S USE SHOES as WEAPONS?"

Believe me not only dads are good at it loll.

My parents never used that technique but it was always fun to see my three little cousins go running around once their mom picks up her slipper :D

It's logical for your dad to use the nearest flying object he has to throw at you, if you see old cartoons that's what annoying meowing cats get from all windows in the neighborhood...
u must have been quiet an annoying cat
meowing all the time to your dad...
My sympathy goes to your dad
